Microsuction is a safe and effective method of ear wax removal. Using a small suction tube and probe Tympa Clinicians are able to gently remove any excess wax in the ear.

Microsuction is now the preferred method of wax removal by Tympa. All our clinicians undertake microsuction training accredited by the BSA (British Society of Audiology) and BSHAA (British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists).

Tympa Clinics are accredited healthcare professionals who deliver ear and hearing healthcare assessments in the community using a Tympa System.

At a Tympa clinic, you can expect:

  • Middle & outer ear health assessment
  • Microsuction wax removal
  • Hearing check
  • Single 30 minute appointment
  • Onward referral, if required

Just like our eyes, its important to have regular ear health checks to maintain a healthy ear as well as to track changes in your hearing, seeking additional support if needed.
